Good to know

How do you make a good wedding hashtag?

Keep it short, easy to spell and personal. Your names or shared surname work well, and adding the year or place helps make it unique.

How do I check if a wedding hashtag is already taken?

Search it on Instagram and TikTok before you share it. If lots of posts already use it, add your year or wedding place to make it your own.

Where should we share our wedding hashtag?

Put it on your wedding website, invitations or signage at the reception, and ask your MC to mention it, so guests know where to share their photos.

Should a wedding hashtag use capital letters?

Hashtags work either way, but capitalising each word (like #TheWalkers) makes them easier to read and harder to misread.
