Good to know

What time should hair and makeup start on the wedding day?

Our planners suggest allowing about 45 minutes per person with one stylist, and finishing about an hour before the ceremony so there's time to get dressed. Always confirm timing with your stylist.

How long do wedding photos take after the ceremony?

Our planners usually allow about 30 minutes for congratulations and family group photos, then 30 to 60 minutes for couple photos. A first look before the ceremony can shorten this.

When should speeches happen at a wedding reception?

Between courses works well, often after the entrée. It keeps the night moving and gets speeches done before the dance floor opens.

Who needs a copy of the wedding run sheet?

Share it with your venue, photographer, videographer, celebrant, MC, band or DJ, and your wedding party, about a week before the day.
